Bryn Derwen Tal y Bont
|
Tal y Bont is a small rural village which lies on the B5106 approximately half way down the Conwy Valley. It is a great location from which to explore the Conwy Valley, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. The walled town of Conwy, with its superb 13th century castle, has been declared as a world heritage site and is only five miles from Tal y Bont. To enjoy the elegant Victorian promenade in Llandudno and the entertainment on the pier, you need only travel 11 miles. |

If you don't want to travel that far, most of the day to day facilities that you might need are to be found in Tal y Bont. There is a general store which has a post office counter, a butcher's shop and Y Bedol which is the village pub. The Lodge Hotel also serves a range of good food. A five minute walk will take you to all of these outlets. |
