Bryn Derwen                                                     Tal y Bont

Tal y Bont is a small rural village which lies on the B5106 approximately half way down the Conwy Valley. It is a great location from which to explore the Conwy Valley, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. The walled town of Conwy, with its superb 13th century castle, has been declared as a world heritage site and is only five miles from Tal y Bont. To enjoy the elegant Victorian promenade in Llandudno and the entertainment on the pier, you need only travel 11 miles.

If you don't want to travel that far, most of the day to day facilities that you might need are to be found in Tal y Bont. There is a general store which has a post office counter, a butcher's shop and Y Bedol which is the village pub. The Lodge Hotel also serves a range of good food. A five minute walk will take you to all of these outlets.
